The Story Behind PeachMoonCreek™
Some stories don't begin where you think they do. Mine started long before the apron, before the mixer, before the first cupcake ever left my kitchen — it started with a little girl who loved to draw, color, trace cartoons, and lose herself in the pages of Eye-Spy books and sticker collections.
But life has a way of layering things on top of who you are. Bills. Kids. Divorce. Responsibilities. The weight of the world. And somewhere underneath all of that, she was still there — waiting.
Sugafoot Sweet Shop: Where It Began
In 2019, I became a certified pastry chef. By 2021, I had turned that passion into Sugafoot Sweet Shop — a mobile bakery built on the idea of "Traditional Treats with a Sugafoot Twist." Cupcakes, pound cakes, brownies, cookies — made with love and a little extra something.
Then came the Fruits of the Spirit Juices — fruit teas paired with affirmations, scriptures, and real information about what you were drinking and why it was good for you. It wasn't just a beverage. It was an experience. A conversation. A moment of nourishment for the body and the soul.
Sugafoot Sweet isn't just a name — she's a persona turned mantra. She represents a choice: "Always Savor the Sweetness of Life; No Matter What." Despite your circumstances, there is always something to be grateful for.
The Pause That Changed Everything
After two years of pouring into customers solo, I hit a wall. Burnout is real, and I refused to pour from an empty cup. So I stepped back.
In that stillness, I discovered something important: I didn't actually love being the Head Chef. What I loved was being the Creative Art Director — designing every label, every package, every visual that told the story. I had a gift for creating recipes, yes, but my real gift was in the art of it all.
The Return
These past few years have been a revamp — a reclamation. Through prayer and faith, I began shedding burdens and reconnecting with the version of me that existed before the weight of the world settled in.
I returned to the girl who loved storytelling. Who sketched fashion designs in the margins of notebooks. Who could spend hours with a coloring book or a hidden image puzzle. Who found pure joy in stickers and mad libs and the magic of a blank page.

PeachMoonCreek™ is the parent, the place, and the expression of returning to my first unknown love: Freedom.
Sugafoot Sweet is no longer limited to the kitchen.
She is a creative world, a way of seeing, and a reminder that sweetness can be found, created, shared, and carried within us.
Everything made here is rooted in faith, imagination, nourishment, and the belief that joy is worth protecting.
