Mercury Retrograde

Mercury goes retrograde three to four times per year, for about three weeks at a time. During retrograde, Mercury appears to move backward in the sky from our vantage point on Earth — and its domains tend to get scrambled.

Communication misfires. Technology glitches. Travel delays. Contracts go sideways. Old conversations resurface. Things you thought were settled come back up for review.

Mercury retrograde isn't a curse — it's a recalibration. The re- words are your guide: review, revisit, revise, reflect, reconnect. It's a time to slow down the mental pace, double-check your work, and let things that need to be reconsidered come back to the surface.

The shadow period — the two weeks before and after the retrograde itself — is often when the effects are most felt. Pay attention to what starts to wobble before the retrograde officially begins.
